Introduction


These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of courier and logistics services by JHL SAME DAY Ltd to any customer using our services via any platform, communication channel, or direct booking.

By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
 

Services Offered


We provide:

  • Same-day and next-day delivery services nationwide across the UK.
  • Collection and delivery from airports including Heathrow, Stansted, Gatwick, and London City.
  • Contracted courier services for airlines, NHS, and other institutions.
  • Door-to-door parcel collection and delivery (shopping parcels, documents, etc.).
  • Motorbike, car, and van services for small, medium, and large parcels.
  • Grocery delivery to your doorstep.
  • Furniture delivery and moving partners.

All deliveries include:

  • GPS tracking.
  • Timestamped photographic proof of pick-up and delivery.
  • DBS-cleared drivers.

 

Customer Obligations


You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and lawful information regarding collection and delivery addresses, contact details, and parcel contents.
  • Ensure that parcels comply with all applicable laws and regulations (no prohibited or dangerous goods).
  • Ensure parcels are properly packaged and labeled.

We reserve the right to refuse any parcels that:

  • Contain prohibited items.
  • Are improperly packed.
  • Pose health, safety, or security risks.

 

Liability and Limitations  


  • We act solely as an intermediary facilitating the transportation of goods.
  • We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or delay resulting from:
    • Incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.
    • Delays caused by force majeure events (weather, strikes, accidents, etc.).
    • Acts or omissions by third parties (such as customs or security services).
  • Our total liability in respect of any claim is limited to the lower of:
    • The actual value of the parcel contents.
    • £1,000 per consignment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers are advised to arrange their own insurance for high-value goods if required.

 

Payment Terms  


  • All prices are subject to VAT at the applicable rate unless stated otherwise.
  • Payment is due upon booking confirmation unless otherwise agreed.
  • Any overdue payments may incur late fees or result in service suspension.


 

Data Protection and Privacy  


  • We collect personal data (including names, addresses, contact information, and tracking data) for the purpose of providing our services.
  • Data is collected, stored, and processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal data.
  • Data may be shared with drivers, logistics partners, and law enforcement where necessary.
  • You have the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of your data by contacting our support team.

 

Tracking and Evidence


  • Real-time tracking is provided for all deliveries.
  • Photographic timestamped proof of collection and delivery is provided.
  • You consent to such data being collected, stored, and used for service and legal compliance.


 

Complaints and Disputes


Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery.

Disputes will be handled first via negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to arbitration or small claims court as appropriate under UK law.

 

Amendments to Terms


  • We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time.
  • Any updates will be published on our website or sent via email if applicable.
  • Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

✔ You may consider instructing solicitor to review this document to ensure adequately  addresses all pertinent requirement, particularly in relation to insurance provisions, data processing notices, at the limitation of liability concerning high-risk or regulated consignments.
